Born on January 10, 1995, in San Cristóbal, Venezuela, the tattoo artist and entrepreneur, better known as "Axl Rojas Art" on various social media platforms. Since the age of 8, he showed interest in fine arts like watercolor and charcoal. However, it was at the age of 17 when he had his first encounter with the world of tattooing. A year later, due to political factors, he was forced to abandon his Civil Engineering career in Venezuela and migrate to Colombia (a country of which he also holds citizenship). There, he made the decision to fully dedicate himself to the Tattoo Industry.

In 2015, he achieved 2nd place in the Realism Shadows category at the Usme Tattoo Convention in Bogotá, Colombia. The following year, in 2016, he won 1st place in the Shadows category at the South Bogotá Tattoo Convention, Colombia. In the same year, he had his first official trip as a tattoo artist to the country of Panama.

During his time in Europe, Axl engaged in significant collaborations and began receiving invitations to tattoo around the world. This period served as the epicenter for expanding his career to places like Germany, Spain, and Dubai (United Arab Emirates). After gaining the experience of tattooing on three continents and multiple countries, Axl's perspective on the tattoo industry changed significantly. He made the decision to leave Denmark, where he had been working as a resident artist alongside his wife for the past few years.

In January 2020, Axl returned to Colombia with his wife for a vacation with family. Shortly thereafter, COVID-19 struck Europe, altering all plans he had made until that point. In July 2020, after spending months in confinement in Colombia, Axl opened an account on the well-known platforms YouTube and TikTok with the goal of sharing educational content. After posting four videos on TikTok, he went viral in Mexico and the United States, currently amassing over 500,000 followers, 60 million views, and 4 million likes across all his videos.

As a result, clients interested in his work began flying from the United States to Medellin specifically to get tattooed by him. Consequently, in early 2021, Axl decided to open his first tattoo studio in the city of Medellin, named Quality Tattoo Studios. However, a few weeks later, after legal advice, he set the goal of obtaining an Extraordinary Ability Visa (a visa for special talent) for the United States. Through this legal process, he gained knowledge on how to structure a professional profile as a tattoo artist, and with Quality Studios, he learned about running a business and all that it entails to be his own boss.

Following the positive reception of Axl's content on social media and having received the visa for the United States, he decides to dedicate more time to his academic project. He begins structuring his first seminar (masterclass) on tattoos, explaining his technique. This seminar took more than 80 hours to organize, comprising a 14-hour class divided over two days. Sixteen people participated in this event, which took place on May 16-17, 2023, in Denver, Colorado, titled "Seminar: Conscious Tattoo Technique."

Throughout his career, Axl has garnered recognition for his work, along with organic press releases in various media outlets. His most recent awards were at the Inkarnaval Fest (International Tattoo Artists Festival in Barranquilla) in 2021, where he secured the second place in the Shadows category. In the United States, at the "Colorado Tattoo Convention 2023," he achieved two second places and one third place in the categories of shadow tattoo, Chicano tattoo, and best male tattoo.

As a result of the seminar, the idea for 6-Figure Tattoo Academy was conceived, in which Axl aimed to create an academy accessible to anyone, regardless of their background or whether they had the opportunity to delve into the world of tattooing to learn. This was motivated by the scarcity and lack of clarity in information within the art of tattooing. Physical academies teaching tattooing are also rare, making it challenging to access training in this profession. Axl has dedicated over 1,000 hours refining every aspect and program that will be taught in this academy.

At 6-Figure Tattoo Academy, aside from the initial program, Axl is currently developing intermediate and advanced programs. Once students have acquired a conscious technique, they can begin to scale up their tattoos and develop their own style. In the more advanced levels, they can reach the point of creating full arms and much more complex and demanding projects.

This is a path that an independent tattoo artist might take 5-8 years to achieve in their career. However, with 6-Figure Tattoo Academy, students will have the opportunity to advance to intermediate and advanced levels in a matter of 10-24 months, provided they put in effort and dedication.
